Senior Sales/Group Head (UK)

The Role:

Kargo is looking for an experienced Senior Sales/Group Head to drive the UK business. The candidate, reporting into VP Sales will initially work with one other in sales person (same level) and establish working relationships with major agencies and clients, to establish the Kargo brand name in the UK market. The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically and work independently whilst also being a team player, helping to maintain the Kargo culture both internally and externally. A key element to the role is ensuring that the Kargo brand and suite of products is known throughout their agency and client patch. Driving revenue via both direct and programmatic channels is imperative. The role is not for the faint hearted, the candidate should be ready for hard work and to get involved in whatever comes their way whilst we grow the the team but should be prepared for a fun and rewarding journey without the bureaucracy of a large company.

The Responsibilities:

  • Building the Kargo brand name within their designated agency patch in UK-both media agencies and ATD’s
  • Understand the technology and creative services Kargo offer and be passionate!
  • Work with VP of sales to build a portfolio of regular advertisers and hit revenue targets
  • Build and maintain a professional and memorable profile with the digital media lumascape
  • Develop sales collateral with help of marketing and design teams
  • Set meeting quote and compensation plan for sales managers
  • Build UK business revenue plan – with GM International
  • Arrange and attend sales/client meetings with sales to lend insight on creative concepts, best practices, and technical implementations based on past campaign experiences

The Requirements:

  • Be an ambassador for Kargo, helping to make us THE place to work in the UK mobile industry
  • Must be able to establish good working relationships with managers, employee’s and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be demonstrated.
  • 3+ year’s experience working in a client-facing role for a media, online or technology firm.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelors degree
