Who is the Platform Management Team:

The Platform Operations team is a global team that splits into two subsets of teams: Platform Management and Campaign Management.  Together, they support the delivery of booked campaigns and Programmatic deals. The responsibility of the team is to ensure that all revenue is converted and seen within Kargo, so that we hit company revenue targets for the quarter and the year. The team monitors all live campaigns on a daily basis and offers suggestions to improve delivery or efficiently optimize to gain the best response and have the highest chance of gaining incremental revenue.

As mentioned, the Platform Management team lives under the Platform Operations umbrella.  As a Senior Platform Manager reporting into the Director of Platform Management, your focus will be to own performance analytics and client facing technical support for top tier accounts.  Sales and Client Services teams will rely on you to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of both direct (DFP) and programmatic campaigns/deals across Kargo's range of premium mobile web inventory. 

The Position:

  • Monitoring KPI performance and delivery against revenue and performance goals for both Direct campaigns and Programmatic deals
  • KPI performance optimizations against client goals (CTR, viewability rate, video completion rate, etc) to ensure we are above benchmark
  • Daily analysis of all programmatic deals within our proprietary tracking tool to ensure lean delivery across our publisher network
  • Identifying and pursuing incremental opportunities on campaigns with healthy pacing and performance
  • Attending kick-off calls with clients, Sales and Client Services teams to confirm correct setup and manage client expectations prior to launch
  • Working directly with Agencies, Trade Desks and DSPs to provide technical support so that programmatic deals deliver as efficiently as possible
  • Escalating to and working with the Technical Operations team internally at Kargo to troubleshoot any campaign/deal issues and/or bugs with platforms and Kargo code
  • Working closely with the Global Campaign Management team for the trafficking setup of all direct booked campaigns
  • Pull reporting data from multiple platforms (DFP, third party ad servers, MOAT) to use in optimization and also provide to Client Services team to share with clients

The Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working with and optimizing against viewable and brand safe metrics with vendors such as IAS, MOAT, DV and Google products
  • Experience working in the Programmatic space, specifically with DSPs (DBM, TTD, Mediamath, Appnexus, etc)
  • Strong troubleshooting attitude and keen analytical mind
  • Experience of basic code such as JavaScript and HTML
  • Good use of proxy tools such as Charles, Google Inspect Element
  • Self-starter mentality and ability to drive their portion of the business

Preferred Requirements:

  • Good understanding of ad serving and technologies such as DFP, DFA, Sizmek etc.
  • 3+ years in the advertising technology space
  • Experience working at a DSP or as support for a DSP at an ATD
